This last week has been full of work, adventures and partys. Which have been fun, but also exhausting in one way. Too little sleep can do that to you. It´s important for me that you can see the whole truth, and not only hear fun stories and look at fun photos from my adventures. And now is the perfect time to bring that up.
It´s not only adventures here. The part that I´ve been separating from my blog, is my work. A place where I am so grateful to be, with lots of awesome colleagues, but it also means actual hard work. So the time after work, or on my days off (which there is not too many of), I either sleep, relax, hang out with new friends or go for an adventure. Every day is not a sunny day, and there have been times where I question how I´m still functioning after way too little sleep and a lot of work.
The most recent example can be this past weekend where I worked double shifts (from 9-17 and then from 6.45-22.15 on Friday. And on Saturday 9-17 and then 18.00-22.15) before I woke up at 6 Sunday morning again worked to 15.30. Had a nap when I came home. Relaxed until 22, fell asleep. Woke up at 6, and worked until 15. Had a nap, then got invited to the bar. Went with some people there around 19-20. And we partied until 11.30 this morning today. (yes, we partied for over 15 hours!) Took a shower and a nap, and here I am.
My point here is that I want to show you how my everyday life actually is. Today it´s so easy to only show the good stuff online. I want to show you the reality. Even though I always try to focus on the positive things. And how grateful I am to be where I am.
